RECIPES: Cinnamon and Orange Biscuits

I made these with my kids today, as they both have Christmas parties to go to tomorrow and I need to provide some vegan food for them to take. I decide to make sweet foods as usually that is the sort of thing that is on offer.

The recipe is early today as the photo for the recipe yesterday didn't come out at all so I couldn't put it up.
This recipe is for Christmas toasts. There are loads of different ways you can decorate toast to make it look festive, and it is something the kids will love to help out with. Here is how I did mine: http://www.recipesforvegans.co.uk/christmastoast.html

RECIPE: Fruit Christmas Tree

I made this fruit salad for my daughters birthday party today and everyone was really impressed and it was eaten within minutes. I did consider decorating the tree with some smaller red grapes to look like baubals and red apple peel to look like tinsel, but in the end I thought the green tree looked nice on its own. RECIPE: Seasonal Mushroom Canapes

Ok, so this is a bit of a cheat of a Christmas recipe as the only seasonal thing about it is the colour of the herbs and paprika on the top. However I sneaked it in as its really tasty and works well hot or cold on a Christmas buffet or equally can be used as a starter on Christmas day.
Here is the recipe: http://www.recipesforvegans.co.uk/mushroomcanapes.html

Apologies again for the photo, I am working on it!!

RECIPE: Star Shaped Rice Crispy Cakes

I made these today with my 2 year old and she loved making them and eating them afterwards! The only problem we had was that our cookie cutters were tiny so they didn't hold their shape very well, so bigger ones would be better.

RECIPE: Bittersweet Cranberry Sauce

This sauce is sweet with a bitter aftertaste, ideal with very sweet desserts or to put on a nut roast. The advantage of it over other cranberry sauces is that it doesn't have sugar or artificial sweetners in it.
