Chocolate and peanut dessert

This is such a quick and easy dessert and very healthy too.

You just take 1 ripe banana and mash it with a large tablespoonful of peanut butter, a flat tablespoon of cocoa powder and mix together. You can add a teaspoon of agave syrup if it isn't sweet enough.

Once you have mixed it, put in the fridge and it will thicken up and is delicious served cold. You can put it on a base of toasted oats and serve with soya cream.

Salad Doesn't Need to be Boring

Even those who claim to hate salad surely would enjoy a colourful plate like this:

Eaten with some soya mayo or some houmous, delicious!

Low carb vegan food

I have reduced my carbs a lot in the last six months (apart from fruit) and have managed to lose two stone, but have found it hard sometimes to find ways to eat some of the foods I love like vegan cream cheese and peanut butter.  However I have now discovered have cream cheese spread on thick slices of cucumber and peanut butter on celery is lovely!

New Site Design

At last the new site design for has been finished.  It is only the first phase (but likely to remain unchanged now for a while).  Now that is done I will be able to start putting new recipes up again and updating the blog.  Comments on the new design would be welcome (although anything negative will probably be ignored!!!!).
